If you enjoy WvW and you would like to be able to help your realm by claiming objectives, BLE is offering a new rank for you!

The WvW Claimer is intended for BLE Adventurers in good standing. (This means you have completed the BLE Application Form)

Claimers Gain Permissions of: Claim Objectives, Edit Claimable Options, Activate Claimable Tactics.

This is intended for use in WvW Battlegrounds and Eternal Battlegrounds.

Claimers do not need to be WvW commanders but they are expected to cooperate with the WvW commanders in their realm. Claimers need to make a reasonable effort to defend and upgrade claimed objectives. Do not abandon the battlegrounds after claiming an objective. Remember, you are representing BLE out there!

Please keep in mind that guild consumables use guild resources to rebuild, so use them wisely. Replenish the guild bank with items that can be used by scribes to build more consumables. Please donate WvW-related items such as extra siege blueprints to the Guild Bank when possible. This enables BLE to build more WvW upgrades and consumables!

WvW is something that I have not done in GW2, but I am interested in getting into it. What was the result of the WvW poll? Do we have any times set aside for guild sponsored WvW?

What is the best way to get my feet wet, just dive in?

Definitely just diving in to WvW will get your feet wet!

I like to roam in WvW, looking for things I can do solo to help the team, like take supply camps, sentries, ruins/monuments. If there is a commander on the map, then it is definitely useful to join squad and stay with the group for things like taking towers and keeps.

BLE is reviewing our WvW survey results and we will be setting up some WvW guild opportunities.

The Claimer rank is something you may want to look at doing down the road after you have tried out more WvW to be sure it is a game mode that you will enjoy and want to dedicate some time towards.
