Magnus figured no better place than the new tavern to bring the group together.
"A toast to new friends of Black Lion Expeditions!"
Glass Mugs clinked together. Sylgja cringed a bit, knowing that the mugs are in short supply at the moment, along with the ale kegs, but …
"So a quick roll call and introductions, please."
"Gamli Adalsteinsson, here. I have traveled from Hoelbrak out here to support those who fight on the front lines of battle! I will be running your tavern, so stop by often for rest and relaxation!"
"I am Esa, your treasurer. Many of your Lions have already been very generous with their contributions to help build your guild hall. And, of course, there will be much more needed."
After the two norn had made their introductions, a somewhat scholarly fellow spoke next. "Pall Gilmore. Nothing personal, but I did not request this assignment. I am here as the Guild Initiative Notary. (Sigh) But I hope to not have to stay out here in this wilderness indefinitely."
"I am Ronald Lefleur. There is no truth to the rumor that I am a cousin of your Lion, Jene' LaFleur, by the way. I am your Favor Broker."
"Many of your Lions have already met me and made use of my services," said the sylvari. "I am Fion, and I am your Guild Decoration Trader. I plan to have new items available from time to time, too."
Two asura spoke up next. "I am Shakku, your Resonance Broker. And I am Peejj, your Resonance Technician. Access to our services is restricted but we can assist some of you as needed."
"I am Cullen, a Master Scribe. I will be training and assisting a select few of your guild who will take up this new craft."
Perhaps the most curious member of the group was a Tengu. "Pleasant greetings to you all. I am Kensho Arrowsoul. I admire qualities of Loyalty, Honor, and Fate. Which is what has brought me here to work with Black Lion Expeditions. I am currently serving your guild hall as the Workshop Proprietor."
A new arrival introduced himself. "I am Robb, and I have the unique talent of being a Sound Technician. Your guild hall has a high coefficiency rate of ambient sound to biometrical volume and aural-neural capacity." He saw the puzzled looks. "I play music, you bookahs!"
Making their way to the tavern from way across Lost Precipice, where Akeetha Stonesunder, a charr, and Rekka, an asura. "We help run your mine." Rekka added, "And if I find any spare time, I will continue some research here away from those insidious inquest!"
"I am Brine Clutchall, your Market Proprietor. Say, none of you happen to know an Isgarren, do you?"
"My name is Sigurlina Jonsdottir. I am a Guild Trader. I hope to be able to swap out my wares on occasion, so please check with me often to see what I have."
A rather loud and ostentatious human shouted, "I've waited too long to get to make my introduction. And I need no introduction!!" He laughed boisterously, only to see no one really laughing and no one acknowledging who he was. "Er, I am Castor Shoutsman, the finest arena announcer in Tyria! You mean you don't know me? No matter, that will change soon enough. We just need your arena up and running!!"
Last, but not least, was Sarah McKenzy. "You may remember me from your expedition to claim Lost Precipice. I am Sarah McKenzy. I have what passes for an office in the recesses of one of these buildings. So I may be a bit hard to find, but please feel free to stop by from time to time."
Every day seemingly brings another new face to Lost Precipice, not to mention the ever-expanding array of vine walls, decorations, and - what is this? - an airship?
Magnus continues making his rounds. A male human in the War Room office. "Folks just call me Davis, nickname is Davis the Survivor. I am assisting Sophia and I have War Materials for sale."
In the marketplace, another Charr has a small shop. "I am Kresh Defttalon, and I specialize in miniature versions of a variety of creatures and entities that you find all over Tyria and even here in Lost Precipice!" He lets out a hearty laugh.
Two very key individuals who have been around a while but had not yet been properly introduced.
"I am Nathan the Bartender!" the proud Norn shouted. "As your guild acquires the proper resources, I am able to provide a wide array of concoctions for your Lions! It is each person's choice which one they want to imbibe at any given time. And I have plenty of everything so everyone can try a different one on for size at any time. In fact, I think it stands to reason that I will see every Lion more often than any of the other vendors in here!" With that, he clinked mugs with Gamli, which prompted the obligatory cringe from Sylgja, as she knows the mugs are in scarce supply here.
Another human male, Douglas Bird, offered up this information. "I am here to sell Basic Decorations. Some of you have made use of my services, I am sure to see more as time goes by. Decorations really make all the difference in making this place your own, you know."
