Magnus gathered the club together at the entrance, and the place was well beyond his best description.

Jene', who was particularly fond of Labyrinthine Cliffs, immediately let a gleeful squeal slip out - she was going to get to go GLIDING around the Guild Hall!

Sylgja wanted to see where the tavern would be constructed. That and the mines would be places she planned to visit and help oversee.

Grizz had a fang-filled snarl, but left abruptly to return to his work in the "lab", a.k.a. the Mad King's Labyrinth.

Magnus had scoped out the place earlier in the day, but he admitted to the others, "I have barely seen a fraction of what this place has inside, and it is only a fraction of what it will become one day. At long last, our Lions have a place of our own to call home."

He had located a small area on one of the edges of the massive area for the group to use as a meeting place. "Our new assignment list is posted, please see me for any questions."

(Magnus' note at the Cartographers' Club meeting room)

Magnus - Verdant Brink and beyond. Mapping, exploring, and gathering rare materials.
Sylgja - Lions Arch. Research new recipes, in particular for our tavern.
Jene' - Dry Top. Gather and sift through sand for useful items.
Grizz - (the entry is marked through and in Grizz' writing … No new work until after Mad King Festival!)
Dudaeus - Lions Arch and Lost Precipice. Keep an eye on the hall, the modrem may/will come back for it.
Zak - Daily chores, not counting the ones Grizz is working on.
Blebb - Silverwastes, and save those shovels!
Inge - Lions Arch. Congratulations on being the scribe among us.
Onleah - Stick with Dudaeus.
Taylah - Black Citadel and Hero's Canton.
Blebbi - Lions Arch. Help keep us organized as always!

NOTE: We have a new Cartographer, Mo Grayflash, but Mo will be exploring Tyria a bit before helping us on many assignments. Also, I know of a few others who have expressed interest in helping us out.

Thanks as always, Cartographers!

Magnus gathered the club around a large table and placed a very large box in the center. Well, it wasn't overly large by Norn standards, but still.

"You have all proven to be experts at your given professions. But Mordremoth's minions have increased tenfold, hundredfold, and beyond. Tyria and Black Lion Expeditions need us now more than ever, back out in the field."

He opened the box and carefully began removing new gear. "For each of us, it is time to expand beyond what we already know. We will all train with a new weapon, and learn new skills to go with it. This is how we will take the fight to the next level, and how we will continue to earn our place in the songs of the skaalds!"

"For myself, a longbow. I shall learn the ways of the Dragonhunter.

Sylgja, my dear, you will have a warhorn, to sound the calls of the Tempest.

Dudaeus, as you continue your fight against the corruption, take up a staff and train as a Druid, to heal the suffering spirit of the sylvari and Tyria.

Grizz, with this greatsword, you shall become the Reaper and our enemies shall tremble in fear before you!

Jene', you have always favored acrobatics and now with this staff, learn if the Daredevil is who you are destined to be.

Zak, it is only natural that you wield a hammer now, as you become a Scrapper.

Inge, you too will learn this skill, but your priority is Scribing.

Taylah and Blebbi, our mesmers, you will defend yourselves and bend the laws of time as Chronomancers.

And finally, Blebb and Onleah, our warriors, harness and unleash your rage, with a fiery torch, and become Berserkers."

The group inspected the weapons, some of the new gear was more impressive than others. But all of the group felt inspired to learn, and fight, and defend.
